GET INVOLVED

You have an opportunity to do something that will

Impact The World!

Be politically and news literate.

It is your right and duty to

vote in the upcoming elections,

and it does not have to be so scary.

As awkward as it may be, talk to people you know about who they plan to vote for and why. Try to talk about the real issues and not about the personalities of the candidates. Like a journalist should approach a politician with humility, you should also have an open mind when it comes to litening to other people's political values. Listening does not necessarily mean you have to come to an agreement; if both of you are just after convincing the other, you will not have a real conversation.

Get your news from more than one source, and consider those outlets to be in a conversation with each other. What answers do they come up with?

HAVE CONVERSATIONS

You can now register to vote online! This is so simple, even though it is a website set up by the government.  And remember, the presidential election is not the only one that matters. Pay attention to local politics, because those will impact you most directly.
